I am pretty close to average height at 5'4", but I have pretty short legs compared to my long torso. Here are some of the tips that I have learned to help my legs look longer and better match my upper half.

Step 1: Cuff It

The first step I follow is to cuff my jeans until they are about 1" above my ankle bone or the top of my shoe if I am wearing booties or anything with an ankle strap. You can roll them once or twice depending on the length of your jeans.

You can pick any type of heel you like, but this step really makes the biggest difference of all because it will elongate your legs (this is also a great why to get some "hidden height" when wearing bootcut or flared jeans).

Step 3: Tuck It

Try a half-tuck or full-tuck to show off more of your jeans. This will draw up your waistline which will instantly make your legs look longer.

This step is completely optional, but I like it because it draws the eye up to your waist instead of looking towards the middle part of your jeans.
